We are pleased to be recruiting for the position of Community Fundraising and Engagement Manager.
Who we are
The Army Benevolent Fund (ABF) is the Army’s national charity, supporting soldiers, veterans, and their immediate families in times of need. Founded in 1944, our purpose is to provide a lifetime of support to serving soldiers, former soldiers, and their families when they are in need, ensuring they can avoid hardship and enjoy independence and dignity. The Charity operates a regional structure across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland, with its central office in London.
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the ABF in a managerial role, working with the Assistant Director to shape and grow community fundraising and engagement activities with audiences, including the Army family, across the UK. The individual will work closely with the ABF’s regional teams with particular responsibility for oversight of our Volunteer and Army Engagement aspects.
The successful candidate will have strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience of charitable fundraising and working with volunteers. An understanding of Army or Military life would be advantageous.
What We Offer
The starting salary is £46,675.00 per annum. After a probationary period of 6 months, the successful candidate will benefit from the Charity’s full range of employment benefits including an income protection scheme and an employer contribution pension.
