Staff Sergeant Mark Sanders, the Detachment Commander at Tiverton ACF, said: “The Detachment is really proud to have won this. We were the top fundraising team in the South West last year so we were determined to win it this year. The cadets have a strong can do attitude, working with the community and soldiers alike. They know that the money they raise is making a real difference to those who may need it.”

Brigadier (Ret’d) Robin Bacon, Chief of Staff, ABF The Soldiers’ Charity adds: “We are really impressed by the lengths the cadets go to in raising money for the Charity. The Tiverton Detachment strived hard to win this Challenge, we would like to say a big ‘Thank you’ to them and all the cadets who have made that extra effort in fundraising for us.”

The Detachment, which is made up of 30 cadets, undertook various challenges and fundraising activities which included a 7km carry with a 50 kilo log, which they completed in one hour. They will take home the Revision Trophy as well as many other prizes. Find out more about the Revision Challenge here.
