WHY LEAVE A GIFT IN YOUR WILL?
Making a Will is one of the most important things you can do to ensure family and friends are looked after and provides invaluable peace of mind for you and your family. Will planning also provides an opportunity to consider leaving a gift to a charity or cause that is close to your heart. This can serve as a lasting and meaningful legacy to help those who have served their country but now find themselves in times of hardship or need.
The Army Benevolent Fund ensures a complete spectrum of support in the areas it is needed most: helping Army families; improving mental wellbeing; enabling independent living; caring for the elderly; training and education to increase employability; and ensuring the provision of suitable housing. Our aim is to provide the right support at the right time when a person or family is in need, to enable them to move forward with their lives. We pride ourselves on acting quickly when help is needed and provide true through-life support – ensuring that we can, for example, take care of a disabled 18-year old soldier who may need increasing support for a further 70 or more years.
