It is one year since the launch of the Homeless Veterans campaign, a Christmas appeal by the Evening Standard / Independent Newspapers which saw £1.25 million raised for both The Soldiers’ Charity and Veterans Aid. The campaign broke all records for fundraising at the newspaper group and allowed both charities to directly help those veterans who are in vulnerable housing situations.
