We are delighted to award a £150,000 grant to Erskine towards the charity’s care for elderly Army veterans.
A priority for ABF The Soldiers’ Charity is ensuring that elderly veterans and their families have the care they need, long after their service is over. Erskine is the only charity in Scotland delivering care services exclusively to veterans and their spouses, and one of the UK’s leading care homes providing on-site specialist support.
Our grant will be used to meet the costs of delivering expert long-term care to 82 Army veterans living in Erskine’s care home in Bishopton, Renfrewshire. The home provides care for a wide range of complex medical and nursing needs, including dementia, palliative treatment, physiotherapy and speech therapy — the average age of residents is 85.

Erskine’s care staff are incredibly proud to support Scotland’s Army veterans and will maintain our Home’s excellent standards of care.”
