The Cardiff Inflatable Challenge
Get ready for the most exciting fundraiser of the year! The UK’s biggest fun run is coming to Cardiff, and we want you on the Army Benevolent Fund team. This isn’t your average 5k; it’s a course packed with giant slides, bouncy tunnels, and massive obstacles designed for maximum smiles.
Whether you are a seasoned runner or just looking for a lively day out with the family, this challenge is about having fun while raising vital funds for soldiers, veterans, and their families.

Choose Your Distance
Select the challenge that fits your pace. To join our official charity team, there is a
£10 entry fee, followed by a commitment to reach our fundraising goal.
- 5K – 2 Laps / 30 Obstacles
- 10K – 4 Laps / 60 Obstacles
- 15K – 6 Laps / 90 Obstacles
Fundraising Minimum: £100
The Impact of Your Support:
Could provide a veteran in financial distress with an essential food shop and utilities for their family.
Can fund specialist equipment or a home adaptation to help an injured soldier live independently.
Could pay for a bereavement support session or mental health coaching for a family member in need.
What to Expect on the Day
This event is all about the feel-good factor — no pressure, no timing, just pure fun for a great cause.

Team ABF Kit & Arrival
Your Kit: Please wear sensible running shoes and a long-sleeved top.
We will provide an ABF T-shirt to wear over the top so we can grab a team photo before we hit the obstacles.
Arrival: 10:00 AM — please arrive 30 minutes before the start time at the ABF meeting point (TBC).
Parking: £5 per car (cash only, payable to marshals).
Bag Drop: £3.00 per bag. Bags must be no larger than an average rucksack.
No loose items accepted (keys, wallets, phones, or clothing).
Who Can Join?
Families: Children aged 5–15 are welcome but must run with an adult (3:1 ratio).
Everyone Else: Suitable for everyone from absolute beginners to experienced runners.
Hydration: A water station will be available midway through the route.
