Since being founded in 1944 as the Army Benevolent Fund, we have provided a lifetime of support to soldiers, veterans and their families. Although we changed our name in 2010 to ABF The Soldiers’ Charity, our vision remains the same: “That all soldiers, veterans and their immediate families should have the opportunity to avoid hardship and enjoy independence and dignity.”
We support thousands of people each year as well as provide funding for up to 100 specialist charities and partner organisations throughout the UK and overseas.
