Funeral donations that honour and support
We understand that many people like to give traditional floral tributes after a loved one passes, however, if you’d like an alternative option you can gently request donations to the Army Benevolent Fund at your loved one’s funeral. We can provide donation envelopes and thank-you cards to facilitate this. Donations can be made online, by cheque, or via bank transfer, ensuring a seamless process to honour your loved one’s service and support fellow soldiers and veterans.
We understand that some funeral directors do not always wish to collect cash donations, so if people wish to give in other ways here are some options below. You can collect donations or ask people to donate individually.

Please ask anyone who donates online to use the name of the deceased person as a reference, preceded by ‘In memory’.
To make a direct bank transfer to us, you can contact us on 020 7901 8900.
Your donations could support someone like Rebecca
Former Reservist, Rebecca, was left with PTSD after her service, struggling with isolation and symptoms such as panic attacks and anxiety. With the support of Bracken, an energetic spaniel cross, who was paired with Rebecca by a charity that the ABF helps fund, her life is looking positive again.
