Clay Pigeon Shoot 2026
The Army Benevolent Fund annual Clay Pigeon Shoot will be held on Wednesday 15th July 2026, join us to raise vital funds in support of soldiers, veterans and their families.
This event is open to all. Novice participants will be offered an introduction to the sport of clay pigeon shooting, whilst enabling experienced shots to obtain some practice! Everyone will compete for individual and team prizes as well as the infamous Tamlyn Trophy, kindly presented by the late Colonel Roger Tamlyn MBE.
Raffle and Auction
There will be a raffle with some attractive prizes as well as our legendary auction.

£1,450 for a team of 5
Non-shooting guests (includes two course BBQ style lunch with wines) £75.
Bookings to be made by 15th June 2026.
Includes:
- Breakfast baps and coffee/tea on arrival
- Safety briefing
- Shooting and expert coaching in teams of 5
- Cartridges and use of a shotgun* if required
- Mid-morning coffee break
- Post shoot drinks and prize giving
- Two course BBQ style lunch with wine in the ABF marquee
* Shotguns may be borrowed from the West London Shooting School. Please give advance notice of bore and barrel preferences by 15th June if you wish to borrow a gun on the day.

The West London Shooting School
The West London Shooting School, founded in 1901, always organises an excellent day for the Army Benevolent Fund, with a wide variety of game represented at all the stands. Safety and coaching staff will be on hand, so it is the perfect opportunity for any novice shooter to experience something new or enable experienced shots to obtain some practice so this is a great day out, entertaining clients or employees. The shooting school is ideally situated within the M25, just 30 minutes from London.
