80th anniversary sponsored walk

This year, ABF celebrates its 80th anniversary. To mark this special date, our Middlesex Chairwoman and fundraiser Diana Hart is taking on 80 miles together with fellow supporter Sandy.

Starting in Uxbridge following the London Loop in western and northern Middlesex, they will walk approximately 10 miles over the course of 9 days between 6-9 September and 13-16 September 2024 to raise vital funds for soldiers, former soldiers and their families.

Diana and Sandy are practicing some of the route in anticipation: Cockfosters to High Barnet leg – Coming out of one woodland area we were instructed to follow a waterway, past a wooden bridge and two roads to a spot where we could go under a viaduct over the waterway to continue our journey.
