VE & VJ Day 80th Anniversary Sponsored Walk
This September, the Chairwoman and Secretary of the Army Benevolent Fund Middlesex Committee are walking 80 miles over 8 days, covering approximately 10 miles per day to commemorate both these anniversaries.
Walks will be conducted between 5th – 8th September and 12th – 15th September.
Visiting War Graves at graveyards across Middlesex, the walk will pay tribute to those brave service personnel who served in WW1 and/or WW2 and did their utmost, working toward keeping people in the British Isles safe and ultimately, Peace in Europe and Asia.
