Champagne Reception at Pashley Manor Gardens
with the Band of The Royal Yeomanry
Saturday 7th June 2025
Join us for an unforgettable midsummer evening at Pashley Manor Gardens! Experience the finest local English sparkling wine and exquisite canapés while enjoying live music from the band of Royal Yeomanry. Meander through the beautiful gardens and soak in the breath-taking surroundings with a refreshing drink. Early June is the prime time to witness the gardens in all their glory.
Pashley Manor is a stunning Grade I listed timber-framed house, steeped in history since 1550, with expansions made in 1720. The gardens, open to the public since 1992, have been transformed into a spectacular setting thanks to the relentless efforts and creativity of our dedicated gardeners. We extend our sincere gratitude to Mrs. James Sellick for once again allowing the Army Benevolent Fund to host a prestigious reception here.
The Band of The Royal Yeomanry, rooted in the legacy of the Inns of Court & City Yeomanry, was formed in 1961 through the merger of the Inns of Court Regiment—renowned as the Regiment of Lawyers, and humorously dubbed “The Devil’s Own” by King George III—and The City of London Yeomanry, affectionately known as “the Rough Riders.” The band proudly dons the ceremonial dress of The Rough Riders. Its members consist of Army Reservists, including several professional musicians and individuals from diverse backgrounds.
