The Army Benevolent Fund stand at the forefront of support for the Army family, last year helping 75,000 people in 51 countries across the world. Thanks to your generosity we can help people like Jack, who needed our help after being medically discharged from the Army.

Will you donate today to help people like Jack?

Jack had been a Grenadier Guard, his dream job. So when he was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes and had to leave the Army, he did not know what to do. He had no job and no home, and so he turned to us. In the time since Jack asked for help, he has completed a course teaching him key skills in construction, has moved into his own home and secured full-time employment in the industry.

Jack’s story is one that highlights his own resilience and hard work, but Jack acknowledges that without our help he doesn’t know where he would be right now.

Thanks to the donations of people like you, the Army Benevolent Fund was there to support Jack when he needed help. We helped to fund the specialist charities which provided him with somewhere to live and to learn a trade, and contributed towards the cost of purchasing his own tools. Jack now has the skills and stability to take him forward in his life outside of the Army, but it’s not possible without the generosity of our supporters.
