Revitalise logoRevitalise are a national charity that provide respite holidays for disabled people and their carers. We have awarded them with a grant of just over £60,000 which will go towards enabling 170 disabled Army veterans and their carers to be supported during their respite.

With 55 years’ experience, Revitalise provide essential breaks with nurse-led support for disabled people and carers in their three centres in Essex, Southampton, and Southport.

Speaking of the significance of ABF The Soldiers’ Charity’s continued support, Chris Simmonds, Chief Executive of Revitalise, said: “Revitalise is proud to have benefited from a long-standing relationship with ABF The Soldiers’ Charity over many years, and are delighted to have been given an even more substantial grant to continue supporting members of the Army family and their carers.

We are extremely grateful to The Soldiers’ Charity for their continued support, as their generosity enables hundreds of ex-service personnel and their carers to enjoy respite holidays at our three accessible centres every year.

The grant is already enabling us to provide support to members of the Army community and their loved ones, offering them the chance to enjoy a break in a relaxed, holiday-style environment, away from the stresses and strains of everyday life.”

Brigadier (Ret’d) Robin Bacon, Chief of Staff, ABF The Soldiers’ Charity adds: “Revitalise are an incredible charity that enable disabled veterans and their carers to take well deserved and necessary breaks. Thank you for the work you do!”
