On Friday 1st August, representatives from the Army Benevolent Fund had the pleasure of visiting the Army Foundation College Harrogate to present the prestigious Carrington Drum award.

This coveted award is given to the Company that raises the most money for the Army Benevolent Fund during each intake. For this intake, the honour went to Burma Company, who raised an impressive £7,714.96 through a range of fundraising activities. In total, the College raised a remarkable £26,800.74 — a fantastic achievement that highlights the enthusiasm and commitment of the Junior Soldiers.

We are, as ever, incredibly grateful for the ongoing support from the Army Foundation College. The College plays a key role in introducing young soldiers to the work of the Army’s national charity early in their careers, and we hope that this connection continues to grow as they progress through their service.

Congratulations to Burma Company, and thank you to everyone involved for your outstanding efforts in support of soldiers, veterans, and their families.
