The Mayor of Colchester’s Quiz Night 2026
Join the Mayor of Colchester, Councillor Andrew Ellis and his chosen charities at Colchester Rugby Club for the Mayor’s Charities Quiz Night on Tuesday 1st December 2026 for an evening of food, fun and quizzing.
Teams (up to 6 persons max.) will be treated to a one-course meal in the form of a ‘quiz food box’ and a series of quiz questions complete with lots of brainteasers to test out your general knowledge! The Mayor’s Quiz Night is an evening of fun and laughter with friends to raise funds and awareness for his chosen Charities. You’ve got to be in it to win it!
Date: Tuesday 1st December 2026
Location: Colchester Rugby Club, Raven Park, Cuckoo Farm Way, Colchester, Essex, CO4 5YX
Times: Arrival at 6.30pm for 7pm start.
Format:
- Two rounds, Half time: One-course meal (plus ongoing round through the night)
- Prize giving and raffle
Dietary Requirements: Staff at the Club will take meal orders on arrival. The Club will serve dinner during the interval, after Round One. Please let us know in advance if any guests have specific dietary requirements (for example, gluten-free options or allergies), and include the number required. The ABF East Anglia Team will notify the Club before the event.
Book A Team/Enquiries: £90 per team or £15 per person (Team of 6 max*.) and include a one-course meal. * Smaller teams are welcome.
