Join the successful High Value Relationships team at the Army’s national charity in the new role of Major Donor Executive. We rely on the support of Major Donors, alongside our other funders, to continue our vital work supporting soldiers, veterans, and their families. This role will play a key role in stewarding relationships with our existing high-net worth supporters, as well as working with key members of staff to develop and grow our existing networks of prospective supporters and maximise the impact of this community in supporting our work.
With a unique and relevant position and offering, a strong network of colleagues and contacts, particularly within London, and a successful and award-winning event programme, the ABF has the opportunity to unlock significant donations from individuals who care about the Army family. With support from experienced fundraising colleagues and senior management, this role provides a rare opportunity to join a successful team and develop a fundraising area that has high potential. You will develop relationships directly and through colleagues, with a range of senior individuals, utilising the connections to influential individuals and groups which the charity enjoys. You will help to shape the content which brings our programme alive to current and prospective donors and deliver support which makes a meaningful difference to the lives of beneficiaries.
This role would be a great fit for an experienced fundraiser interested in developing their Major Donor skills in an environment with considerable opportunities for growth. The successful candidate will have strong organisational skills, as well as the ability to influence and to engage confidently with senior figures.
What we offer
The starting salary is £38,399 per annum. After a probationary period of 6 months, the successful candidate will benefit from the Charity’s full range of employment benefits including an income protection scheme and an employer contribution pension.
