The Army Benevolent Fund Gloucester Golf Day is one of the South West’s most anticipated charity golf events, bringing golfers together for a memorable day at the outstanding Brickhampton Court Golf Complex. This annual fundraiser supports the Army Benevolent Fund, helping soldiers, veterans and their families facing hardship. With its perfect blend of competition, community and hospitality, the event is ideal for regular golfers, corporate groups and enthusiastic amateurs alike.
Players will enjoy a full 18‑hole Bowmaker competition, designed for teams of four. The format keeps the event fun and competitive, with varied scoring across Par 3, 4 and 5 holes. After registering from 07:30 and fuelling up with a bacon roll and hot drink, golfers can warm up with 35 complimentary range balls before heading to the tee.
A major highlight of the Gloucester Golf Day 2026 is the hospitality. After completing the course, players sit down together for a superb two‑course meal, including Topside of Beef followed by Peach Melba Pavlova. A prizegiving ceremony rounds off the day, celebrating top‑performing men’s, women’s and mixed teams, as well as winners of nearest‑the‑pin and longest‑drive challenges.
