The Army Carol Service – Tuesday 8th December 2026
The Army Carol Service is hosted annually in the Royal Hospital Chelsea by the Army Benevolent Fund.
The magnificent setting for our service is the glorious 1691 Wren Chapel in the heart of the Royal Hospital for a traditional Advent service of lessons and carols which makes for a memorable and festive evening.
Our readers are serving soldiers representing the range of ranks and diversity in today’s Army. The carols are led by the renowned Chapel Choir and accompanied by Household Division trumpeters.
After the service, you are invited to join us for a reception in the Great Hall for wine and canapes and hear from the Army’s most senior officer, the Chief of the General Staff.
