Race The Runway 2025

Saturday 13th September

Make your way to the beautiful Moray coast to test the top-speed of your super-car or even match yourself against a friend in your own private drag-race. Kinloss runway is the perfect venue to have a blast without a speed camera in sight!

Enjoy the thrill of high speed in this perfect setting, near the Moray coast. Kinloss Army Barracks 2.4km runway is a rare treat, with a top speed of 198mph at our 2024 event, you won’t be disappointed! With only a small number of fellow participants and as many runs as you can fit in, this is an exclusive and rare chance for you to test your car’s speed on the ex-RAF runway. Finish the day with a delicious 3-course dinner, hosted by 39 Engineer Regiment, in the prestigious Officers Mess at Kinloss Barracks. Rev your engines for 2025!

What’s happening on the day:

0900 – 0930 – Registration
1000 – Safety Brief
1030 – Lap of the route in convoy with all participants, safety and support vehicles
1100 – Make your way to the start line to race the runway, individual runs and paired drag-races both possible
1200 – 1400 – Rolling lunch, participants are free to stop whenever suits to grab a bite to eat from the food trailer
1600 – Racing comes to a close
1800 – Officers Mess drinks reception
1830 – Regimental-style dinner in the Officers Mess

Ticket options:

£100 – early reservation (non-refundable), remaining £300 to be paid by 30th June 2025
£400 – entry for driver and car, includes tea/coffee on arrival and lunch
£50 – additional passenger per car (one passenger only)
£50 – 3-course Regimental-style dinner in Officers Mess (to be billed separately)
£25 – Spectator ticket

Cancellations up to four weeks prior will be offered a full refund and 50% up to two weeks prior.

When you go through the registration process, you will be asked to accept these Terms and Conditions electronically; you will also be sent an electronic copy along with your registration confirmation.

The Detail

You agree notify us immediately and, in any event within 2 days, if you become aware of any reason (whether medical or otherwise) why you may not or ought not to compete in the event.
You agree that you are physically capable of taking part in the event and agree to be solely responsible for your actions. The Army Benevolent Fund is not responsible for any injury or illness that you may suffer because of your participation in the event.
You agree to the Army Benevolent Fund storing the information that you provided on their database in accordance with your communications preferences on the registration form. Please see our Privacy Policy for details.
You are responsible for your own travel, accommodation and insurances whilst participating in this event.
