In a rainy October day in Lancashire, The Soldiers’ Charity followed the team from SPEAR 17 – the South Pole Expedition Army Reserves – on a training day as the teams got to grips with what they will be enduring when they undertake their 800 mile, 60 day trek to the South Pole. The team will be the first Army Reservists to take on the Antarctic challenge and will be hoping to raise several hundred thousand pounds for The Soldiers’ Charity in the process.
