A team from 3 Regiment Royal Logistic Corps (RLC) has been training hard to break the official Guinness World Record for the furthest distance pulling a vehicle in 12 hours.
Between 4-5th March, 12 soldiers will be in Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire to tow the vehicle and raise vital funds for ABF The Soldiers’ Charity and Mind. The team is undertaking the brutal physical and mental challenge to raise awareness of mental wellbeing and highlight Army confidence. 3 Regiment RLC is aiming to raise £10,000 to support military and civilian communities through a display of stamina, determination and teamwork.
The Soldiers’ Charity is the British Army’s national charity. Since 1944, it has been providing a lifetime of support for soldiers, veterans and their families. Mind provides advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. It campaigns to improve services and promotes better understanding in wider communities to ensure that everyone is able to access the right support.
Good luck to 3 Regiment RLC in its world record attempt and thank you for taking on this incredible challenge for our charity and Mind.
