Join us on a walk over Pendle Hill, led by experienced local guides who will provide an insight into the history, geography and wildlife of the area, illustrated by many little known facts – you are bound to learn things you never knew before

Pendle Hill, just off the A59 near Clitheroe, rises above once ancient hunting ground and was the home of wolves and wild boar. It is still an untamed place, full of mystery and infamous as the home of the Pendle Witches who were tried and executed for witchcraft in 1612. The landscape, carved out by man and nature, welcomes walkers and countryside enthusiasts.

Please join us for a charity walk, that combines history with stunning scenery on a guided 6 mile walk lasting up to 4 hours. Our local guides will explain the history and features of the Hill in groups of 15-20 walkers. There is one steep incline and a number of rocky paths that will require walking footwear (sturdy trainers or walking boots); the route is considered “moderate” for those used to walking.
