Norfolk Speaker’s Lunch 2025
“The Battle of Kohima”
The battle of Kohima was the turning point of one of the most grueling campaigns of the Second World War. The 2nd Battalion The Royal Norfolk Regiment fought with distinction in this battle at great cost. The Norfolk Speaker’s Lunch will recognise the Regiment’s significant contribution to the campaign.

Time: Gathering from 12:00 noon with Lunch at 12:30

Dress Code: Jacket & Tie
Guest Speaker: Steve Snelling renowned local military historian, author and journalist gives a vivid description of a hugely significant battle.
Hazel Mindham will sign copies of her recent book “The Second Battalion, The Royal Norfolk Regiment at Kohima 1944”, which she will have for sale on the day at £10 each (cash only).

- Members’ Advanced Payment Scheme accounts will be charged 3 days prior to an event.
- If a cancellation is made up to 48 hours prior to the event, a full refund will be issued. Any cancellations received after this time will NOT be refunded.
